The Big Takeover 30th Anniversary NYC Festival/Party

by chris on May 19, 2010

The Big Takeover, New York City’s seminal independent music magazine, is celebrating its 30 year anniversary with a 2 day music festival this summer.

The Big Takeover is one of the oldest independently produced music magazines in the history of underground punk, pop, and rock music. Its founder & chief writer/editor, Jack Rabid, has been in the music business for 30 years as both a writer and musician and is a big advocate of “music with heart”. He introduced Interpol’s Sam Fogarino and Swervedriver’s Adam Franklin who then formed Magnetic Morning. It’s sure to be a great live music experience!
