Autolux at The Independent in San Francisco

Friday night we went to see Autolux and Snowden at The Independent. This was a sold out show as part of the Noise Pop festival.
A great show but I don’t think their performance was a good as the last time we saw them here. Being unfamiliar with new, unreleased material is part of that. Apparently there was a long lull between the main set and the encore. Then equipment troubles to prolong the wait. I left a little early so I wasn’t subjected to this wait.
But anytime I can see a band as good as Autolux with a good opening act, Snowden, a block from home is a good night.
