    NCAA 2004 Sugar Bowl story

    By chris | January 5, 2005

I watched the National Championship game last night at a local bar. At the table next to me was a guy and a girl.

This was a very sloppy game game. Fumbles, turnovers, interceptions. Not all were forced by great play but rather poor decisions.

Part way through the game the girl next to me calls up a friend, “This a a great game. Both teams are playing SO well!”

Later OU blocked an LSU punt. She says, “I’ve never seen that before. Is that legal? What do you call that? What do you call that play? An intercepted punt? Why don’t they run that more often?”.
